Phil Parrott has more than thirty years of legal and private equity experience. Mr. Parrott’s expertise is in law, due diligence and transaction structuring. He co-founded the Firm in 2003.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Parrott was a Chief Deputy District Attorney in charge of the Economic Crime Unit of the Denver District Attorney’s office for ten years. Previously, Mr. Parrott was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis and at Montgomery, Little, Young, Campbell & McGrew and served as Counsel of residential operations of Trammel Crow Co. and as Counsel to the Corporate Trust Operations of Norwest Bank of Colorado (now Wells Fargo West). Mr. Parrott’s legal experience includes private equity funds, acquisitions, financing, commercial transactions, real estate, bankruptcy and white collar crime prosecution, defense and prevention.

Mr. Parrott served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Enterprise Fund, a community development financing agency, for 13 years.

Mr. Parrott received a B.A. from Colorado State University, and a J.D. from the University of Colorado.
